Re-elect Kirsch

As someone who appreciates a person who can balance a budget in good times as well as bad, I am very impressed with Councilman Jim Kirsch's performance as chairman of the City Council's finance and budget committees.

Our elected officials are now guiding our community through the toughest economic times in generations. Jim started to take steps several years ago during better times to see Highland Park would not have to cut services or lay off workers if the economy slowed. His hard work has paid off, as our city is far ahead of Chicago and other communities in the area with its budget.

We need people like Jim Kirsch in office. I hope you will join me voting for Jim on Election Day.
